48.3 Scaffold Design in partnership with GKR Scaffolding needed to come up with a solution that would incorporate the use of scaffolding and sound proofing between the lightwells of neighbouring office blocks to reduce sound ingress from demolition work.

Tempsford Hall is the UK headquarters of Kier Group and the project to refurbish the old hall was a collaboration between various divisions of Kier as part of their project to develop the entire site.

Freestanding Layher Temporary Roof & Access Scaffold, Shanks House

The ground based supporting scaffold was erected using traditional tube and fitting materials with long multi-beam bridging sections over adjoining buildings. Access platforms were provided from ground to eave level for stone repair, window replacement and building work. The scaffold then extended upwards to support 24m and 32m span temporary roof structures.

The Bush House site is enclosed by Aldywich to the north, The Strand to the south, and Melbourne Place to the east and was the home to the BBC World Service until the relocated last year.

Temporary Roof Encapsulation and Eave Level Access Scaffold to facilitate a major roof repair programme. The ground based supporting scaffold was erected entirely from Layher Allround system with loading bays, and bridging sections over adjoining buildings.

Bridged Layher Allround scaffold forming an access and protection deck to enable the construction and fit-out of a new Wetherspoons Bar directly above International Arrivals in the South Terminal. The Costa Coffee cafe remained open during the works as the erection was completed during the night when there were no passenger arrivals. The scaffold is fully clad in Layher 'Protect' panels with signage added by the main contractor.
