Design Checking
48.3 provide a design checking service for designs produced by outside
parties. This is an impartial assessment with results provided in a
streamlined review process.
The team at 48.3 have designed or checked in excess of 300 scaffold and temporary
works designs on Network Rail projects. We can produce designs or design
checks as part of a Network Rail Form C submission in accordance with
Network Rail standard NR/SP/CIV/003.
BS 5975:2008 specifies that all temporary works should be subjected to a
design check – the depth and scope of which are defined as four
categories. 48.3 engage this procedure as both design and checking
engineers.
