Background

48.3 Scaffold Design was formed in May 2010 by Managing Director and Principal Engineer, Ben Beaumont and are experts in providing specialist scaffolding and temporary works design solutions to a range of clients across the UK, Europe and the Middle East. 48.3 has provided recent designs for projects for Network Rail, London Underground, Thameslink, Crossrail, Gatwick Airport re-development, Heathrow Terminal 2B, English Heritage, Thames Water, National Grid and many other commercial and industrial sites.

We work in many sectors including civils, refurbishment, demolition, infrastructure, industrial and petrochemical. As a result, we have a design team that sees involvement with a broad range of customers and different applications for scaffolding and access. We are a fast-growing team and are actively seeking dynamic, proactive, client-focused team members to join us to match our business growth. Autumn 2018 Update: Creating a work-life that fits around you!

We are working really hard to create new roles and adapt our current roles to suit the needs of our staff. One aspect of this is supporting family life, after all, family is more important than work - fact. Often employment prohibits a great family life, instead of helping to support it. 

We have been changing the way our part-time roles are structured so that the time in the office can be taken to suit the hectic routine of family life - work between school drop off's, adapt your work days to cover school inset days, work from home if you need to, take time to attend parents evening or sports day without using your annual leave, and now we have created an annual leave option that guarantees you can have school holidays off.

Brief Job Role:  

Maintain excellent company financial records and be responsible for ensuring the company meets all their financial and tax deadlines with HMRC and any similar legal obligations. Build and maintain new financial reporting and planning structure, create management accounts and contribute to financial strategy.
